This is my routine, and I do this day and night (and ever since I have started I haven't got any new pimples, zits, breakouts, etc.) : I wash my face with Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser (buy at any drugstore), then dry it, then I use Tea Tree Oil (100% pure tea tree oil which i buy at Vitamin Shoppe or buy online...i do this buy putting 3 drops on a cotton swab and brushing it all over my face...it smells and may sting but works excellently), then i moisturize with a product called Complex 15 (it is extremely good and is non-comedogenic which is the key thing to look for in moisturizers...i buy this moisturzer online), and for spot treatment i use Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 (which is 10% benzoyl peroxide). I think that the most important thing in this routine is the TEA TREE OIL (i am completely addicted and scared to not use it), the only reason why i use the moisturizer is because tea tree oil is really drying but completely kills all bacteria and whitheads.
Try this routine for 2-3 weeks and see what you get.
Before starting this routine, i always got breakouts but not anymore. But give it a few weeks first. But once again, the Tea Tree Oil is the charm and Cetaphil is the best drugstore cleanser ever!

You could see a dermatologist. Or you could use any mild cleanser, hot water, a new dry clean washcloth each time you wash 2-3 times per day, follow up with 10% benzoyl peroxide topical cream or gel at night or perscription Retin A, and apply cetaphyl moisturizing cream morning and night. Scoop the moisturizer with a Q-tip or a plastic scoop not your finger to keep the cream clean. Midday you could wash or use a moist towlette to keep your face fresh.

It is best to heal your skin from inside out. That means, you need to take into account what you consume and how your digestive system is working.
For diet, you need to drink lots of water and eat plenty of veg and fruits.
For your digestive system, do a regular detoxification cleanse. That will help remove the toxic waste that is in your body. Toxic waste sometimes manifest in acne when your organs cannot cope with the overload.

My daughter bought me this stuff at Dollar Tree for Christmas. It is called April Bath and Shower Facial Scrub. I use it daily and it contains apricot so it smells really good and doesn't leave my skin dry or oily. I would've never tried it except that I got it for Christmas.

Try black seed soap. Don't use hot water to clean your skin, use lukewarm water and splash cool water afterward to close your pores. Witch Hazel as a toner. Check out the site below. I also use the black seed scrub, its great.
