Ha ha, Laura thinks we all know who Ross is.

When people get married, they are usually 8 years younger than when they get divorced.

It gets later and later as time moves on, actually. The average age for a woman used to be in her early 20s (about 30 years ago), then changed to her mid 20s (about 15 years ago) and now is about 29--in her late 20s or early 30s. A good percentage of women are now even in their early to mid 30s when they're getting married. It all just depends on when you meet the right person!

I'll be 29, about 5 days before my 30th birthday (coincidental, although I did want to get married before I turned 30!), when I get married.

I was 23 and my husband was 22. We were very young, in my opinion. However, I think it is more important to marry at the right time than the right age. The right time is after you each have learned about yourselves individually, after you've experienced life's ups and downs without dependence on parents, and you each know what you want in a relationship. Additionally, both should understand the cycles and elements of love and relationships.
