Unless your hair straightener doesn't use chemicals or HeAt to straighten, I'm afraid to say that continual usage WOULD spoil your hair. Hair straighteners with ions, ceramic plates are touted to reduce hair damage, but that can only be SaiD. It may be sooo small that the damage inflicted on your hair by the heat outweighs the benefits in the short run. In the long run however, I don't think it would help. You hair would still be damaged by the much higher than average heat. Would YoU BUY, AT A HIGHER PRICE , if it "works like ordinary straighteners"???
Never heard of Chi Hai, heard of GHA on the internet but it isn't sold in my country-not in the major department stores, or any store that I've heard of,at least, so I would recommend it. Buy something like Revlon, VS etc-a midpriced one will do since its to "damage" your hair. But at least there's a warranty and you can exchange it at your local shop if its faulty! :)

Sadly, all straighteners will damage your hair.
One of the best is CHI. Another great one that costs a bit less is made by RUSK.
If you want to minimize the damage, use a protectant like Rusk's Str8 Line.

i just got a CHI off ebay for $60. i tried it out for the first time today and it is the best thing i have ever used to straighten my hair! it took probably 25 minutes to do my whole head and i have really long curly hair. it was well worth the money. i'm so happy with it that i probably would have paid full price for it!

i have GHD's theyre really good, heat up quick
all straighteners damage your hair the same just using the right protection spray is important.
A cheaper option to GHD's are KODO's which are basically the same but more affordable!
