If your engagement ring is a tradtional solitare or three-stone Princess style, you can still wear it with your wedding band. You might consider having a jeweler join the two rings together on the bottom, so the stay put better. If your engagemtn ring is a unsual shape, a marquis cut for example, you can have a wedding band custom designed to fit around the shape of your engament ring. This is a really unique look, and is very stylish. You could also consider having the diamonds (or whatever stones) from your engagement ring or commitent ring set in your wedding band or as a new "life of love" ring to wear on your right hand. That way, you are symbolically carrying all the stages of your courtship with you, without worrying about what rings to wear.

I always thought that your engagement ring became part of your wedding set because you just buy a band to go with the ring?!? Everyone I've ever known has had their engagement ring in their wedding set, so I dont really understand how you are so confused. As for the commitment ring, I believe that should be worn on your right hand ring finger.

Your promise or friendship ring should of went on your right hand when you got your engagement ring, because the engagement ring should be on your ring finger on the left hand and when you get married you take off the engagement ring and after the ceremony and your wedding band is on the engagement ring is put on after your band. You still want everyone to see your engagement ring don't you. Good Luck for the future

Its a very common practice to wear both engagement ring and wedding ring together on the left after the wedding. Some even order the matching one as a set.

It's customary to wear the engagement ring and the wedding band on the left hand ring finger...you could then wear the commitment ring on your right hand.

You wear your engagement ring on top of your wedding band. The wedding band is closest to your hand and then your engagment ring on top. I would put the commitment ring on the ring finger of the opposite hand.

I have seen people move their engagement rings to their right hands, I have seen people wear their engagement rings on their left hand in conjunction with their wedding bands and I have seen people stop wearing their engagement rings.

Personally, I plan on wearing both my engagement ring and wedding ring on my left hand on the same finger together. If you do that, you can continue to wear the commitment ring on your right hand.

Most women wear their engagement ring with their wedding band; you could wear the other ring on your right hand.

Wear the engagement ring and wedding ring together. Wear the other ring on the other hand if you really can't stop wearing it.

I wear them both. I have my wedding band on first... closest to my heart and then my engagement ring. You could wear the commitment ring on the right hand.
