Pursue activities that will give you the work skills that employers are looking for. Also look for projects (inent them if you have to) that will increase your knowledge of the area that interests you most.

Read journal articles in your ield iof interest and summarize them. Keep a journal so you can show the employer that yours is not just a childish wish but a serious endeavor.

If you do those things, you will be in the top 1% of applicants. I've written three books on the matter, so this is just a small tip.

Do things in your field. you didn't specify what you were studying or what you wanted to do. If you want to be a doctor volunteer in a hospital. If you want to get into architecture volunteer at an architectural ferm. get real life experience. some places will offer payed internships, some you wont get payed. If your studying to be a lawyer they won't care ether way if you were on the basketball team. Do something relevant.

just do what you love to do best, singing, dancing, orating, painting. if you do it with dedication and enthusiasm, then you
can shine from the others.
