I have black hair and I'm trying to prevent damaging my hair to much, so I want to be able to get the color out in no more than 2 bleah treatments. Any advice, and product information would be great!!!

well, you can't buy a color stripper without a cosmo license :( If you go with bleach, then it will surely fry your hair since it's black. I dyed my hair black once and then tried to go back. Bought a bleach kit at Sally's beauty supply and ended up orange. Two days after halloween too and the lady at the store was rude as can be to me when I went in to get help. She kept laughing and saying halloween was over. Anyway, you have to get a color that is light, after bleaching it, but it has to have a green base or blue base in it to neutralize the red tones as black has a massive amount of red tones. Best place to go though would be a Sally's beauty supply store and ask there. Usually they know what they're talking about :)

I buy my hair dye stripper at Walgreens..It's less that 10 dollars a box....but it smells ABSOLUTELY awful.
