I've recently started running, and I have found that if I don't drink massive amounts of water whilst running, I will faint. Is there anything that I can do to remedy this? I am a slim 16 year old female.

Powerade or Gatorade or a sports drink that contains electrolytes should help. Also a Multivitamin with Iron. Petite women usually have low blood counts called H&H Hemoglobin and Hematocrit levels, if you menstrating it's even lower. Iron suppliments and red meats and leafy greens will help with the iron. This is gross but check the color of your urine. If it's dark you are dehydrated, if its clear and has no color your not, but you should have a tint of yellow. Too much water could be bad, I mean massive amounts liek you mentioned it could cause an electolyte imabalance called Hyponatrimia which is low sodium. This could be a dangerous thing so try not to drink MASSIVE amounts of water.
Women under 110 pound can't donate blood because of low blood counts. The only way to know for sure is to have a CBC done you could be anemic. Your doctor would need to see several CBC (Complete Blood Counts) to know for sure.
For now try an electrolyte sports drink with a morning Multivitimin with iron and within a weke you should see huge improvements.

Here are the tips...
Preventing Dehydration
The easiest way to avoid dehydration is to drink lots of fluids, especially on hot, dry, windy days. Water is usually the best choice. Drinking water does not add calories to your diet and can be great for your health.
The amount that people need to drink will depend on factors like how much water they're getting from foods and other liquids and how much they're sweating from physical exertion.
When you're going to be outside on a warm day, dress appropriately for your activity. Wear loose-fitting clothes and a hat if you can. That will keep you cooler and cut down on sweating. If you do find yourself feeling parched or dizzy, take a break for a few minutes. Sit in the shade or someplace cool and drink water.
If you're participating in sports or strenuous activities, drink some fluids before the activity begins. You should also drink at regular intervals (every 20 minutes or so) during the course of the activity and after the activity ends. The best time to train or play sports is in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the hottest part of the day.
If you have a stomach bug and you're spending too much time getting acquainted with the toilet, you probably don't feel like eating or drinking anything. But you still need fluids. Take lots of tiny sips of fluids. For some people, ice pops may be easier to tolerate.

Don't drink anything with caffeine in it. Caffeine is a diuretic and can seriously dehydrate you. This means no coffee drinks, no soda, no red bull. Boxers usually begin hydrating themselves for a big match hours to days in advance, sipping fluids every 10-15 minutes or so before it's time to exercise. "Loading up" on fluids far in advance should help you.

Drink water. You should drink like five bottles a day. That's the minimum for anybody. Also try eating more and drinking red bull or Monster. Pace yourself. Make sure you run correctly (by this I mean that you inhale and exhale correctly). Also don't over-do it.

drink water more at other times then just running. To me it sounds like an underlying medical condition you shouldn't be fainting all the time. I would go to the doctors to get it checked out.

You are not hydrating enough on a regular basis. For an intense physical activity, hydration begins 24 hours before the activity. If you wait until you feel thirsty it is too late.

Is there anything that you eat or drink before you exercise? If I drink milk or sometimes something like Mt. Dew before I exercise then I get really dehydrated.
