I was offered brothers at a reduced rate. Should I take one and love it to death or take 2 and let them play together or will it be too much? peekepoo puppies.

Dogs are pack animals and they need other members. They are happy to have you lead their pack as long as you're around. If you (or someone in your family) are not home much, it may be good to get a second dog. It's really your call. I would not take a second dog just because I could get a good rate.

do what feels right for you. are you home a lot? will a single dog get lonely? i am a stay at home mom and i only have one dog, but she won't let me have another or i would!! i would get both if you are home most of the time!! but i would for sure get both if you are gone a lot then they can keep each other company!! by get both if you are home a lot i mean do you work 8 hours a day and then home most of the time besides that or do you work 80 hours a week and not have the time to house train etc. anyway, to answer your q it is OK to have one dog if it is going to get lots of love and attention from you. it would also be awesome if the brothers could stay together in a loving home and both get loved to death!!!!

Most breeders will tell you you should not take two puppies at once. The reason behind this is because they will not bond to you, only to each other. This is suppose to make them harder to train. I, however, have been raising 2 puppies that were rescues and they have been a joy to raise together. They seem pretty well bonded to me, but then I am also their substitute mom. It is nice to know that have each other when I am at work, but it does take more time and money.

Two puppies at one time is a bad idea. Any dog should be socialised with dogs outside its own family to ensure that aggression does not develop. If you are worried about one being lonely, maybe it isn't the right time for a dog at all.

Whichever way makes you happy, they do fine on their own. But if you want 2, then get 2. They're small and it will be easier on you because they will play with each other.

You should take both of them only if you can take good care of them and they may not cause any trouble to other people. Still, if you can't resist the urge to have both of the, consider people who can't even afford to have one.

nothing wrong with takeing the two brothers, i once took care of the mother and her daughter and everything went fine, just aslong as you take the responsibility to care for them both as much as you would with having one

If you are at home quite a bit I would say one is fine. But, if you are gone alot I would suggest two if its not to much to handle for you! They will keep each other busy and amused.

And of course it's okay ! ! ! Think about it ...It would be a big responsibility , two dogs . For example I don't have a dog even a pet you are so lucky ...in my opinion one dog is enough . . .
