I can't figure out what nationalities I have in me. My dad's family was supposedly Dutch, German, Irish and a little Cherokee. My mom, I have no clue. What do you think? Look at my 360.
Thanks

And for those of you who can only be little idiots about answering this question, I'm serious. I have no clue what nationality I come from and am very curious. I've researched it trying to find out, but still haven't gotten any leads. I just wanted to know the opinion of nationality of anyone willing to answer.
Thanks.

Another Update:
I know I do not resemble anything even remotely Cherokee in apearance. That's not what I'm asking. I just would like to know what YOU think.
I just looked my mom's lineage up. My uncle had named some names and different close surnames before but I was unable to find it until I used the link which I got in one response to the question. These particular ancestors were from Belfast, Ireland, migrated to North Carolina (where my grandfather's grandfather lived) and then to Alabama and then to Texas where I am now. My father's family is mainly concentrated in West Viriginia and Kentucky.
The whole reason I even registered an account on a non-USA Yahoo site is that hopefully, one of you, being true Europeans and still residing there, would be better at spotting different features common to particular nationalities. Americans will simply say "You look white". That' does help me.
But thank you to all of you that gave me some legit opinions. It is very appreciated.

You look quite Germanic or possibly Celtic. Your name, Neal, appears to be English in origin, though it could also be Irish or Scottish. If you really want to know, I suggest that you get involved in genealogical research. Find as much information on your grandparents as you can. If they are still alive, interview them. Ask them about their brothers and sisters, their parents, and grandparents, if they remember. Then download a free pedigree viewing program. I think you can find one at http://www.familysearch.org/ Once you've inputed data for a few generations, try to find your ancestors in census records. The 1880 census is available online at familysearch.org, so this is a good place to start. Then try to find your ancestors in earlier censuses. There are census records for most of the 19th century, so you should be able to trace your lines at least back to the late 18th century. From there, you will need to search IGI or parish records.

Not trying to hurt your feelings.. but what you look like, has NOTHING to do with your nationality.
If you have tried looking up your family name as to where it originated, I hate to say this, but that is not going to give you information either. For many names, there simply is no proof regarding where it comes from. Others, it is simply guessing.
I would have to guess that what you are relying on, is family traditions that have been handed down, without any verification. I am sure that you should be able to verify when and where your mother was born, and what were her parents' names? Surely, your mother has a birth certificate? On that record, you would have the names of her parents. Same is true for your father.
The process of research is to FIND those specifics, for each of your ancestors... parents, grandparents, gr grandparents. The records ARE out there. They may not prove your dad to have any Cherokee...everyone and their brother wants to be Cherokee.
The basic rule in genealogy is using documentation, instead of tradition. Sometimes the tradition can be backed up, sometimes not. When you reach the ancestor who originally came to the US, you will need to confirm where he/she came from.
I apologize if I sound harsh, but if you really WANT to know, this is the only reliable way to do it. And it can be lots of fun.

I can definitely see the Dutch and German influence. Germany and the Netherlands border eachother so their physical characteristics are very similar. The blonde hair, blue eyes are quite common. They are not so common in the Cherokee lines. You really ought to research your moms lines if you feels so inclined. I especially tell people who have no clue as to their heritage this advice. I have found that learning about my ancestors has helped me learn a lot about myself and why I am the way I am today.
Blessings and good luck!

Human nature would make you prefer to look. Kinda like once you're using down the line and you notice a ineffective animal on the line, no count how lots you tell your self "do no longer look" basically once you get upon it you look.

Wow! I think you are lucky, in Italy we have had so many invasions by other peoples, that isn't enough this space to enumerate them, so, even in the tragedy, we acquired capabilities of those peoples, not last our very different look, we are like German in the north, like roman in the centre, like Arabian in the south, but that is to simplify the speech. It's for that we are very creative in all. Ciao.
