Couture got into Sylvia's head with a big right hand in the first round that dropped Sylvia. You could see defeat in Tim's eyes from that point on. Randy is a better athlete, and a better fighter, and he out punched Tim, and embarrised him.
I was quite pleased to see Randy, Matt Hughes, and Rich Franklin all take home wins tonight.

So the Militiche camp is 1 and 1 tonight. 50%, thats not TOO bad I guess.
Anyway, just like the other kid said. Randy belittled Tim Silvia's spirit from the very beginning of the contest, landing his first power punch thrown, and knocking Tim down hard. From that moment on, despite a few shots landed from Silvia and some barely aggressive attempts at defending his championship, it was just another day in the office for Randy Coutore. What more can you say about this guy? I mean: he is the man, and a 5 time UFC champion.
I don't know how many of you know Randy from way back in the day when he debuted in the UFC. I think it was UFC 13, actually, when Coutore dominated a much larger man in the form of a VERY TOUGH professional wrestler known as "Ludvig Borga". Randy claimed that he could take anybody in the world down, he did that to Ludvig that night, and he just did the same to Tim Silvia tonight. Two UFC's later(I think it was 15-Collision Course or something), Randy took on Vitor Belfort in a superfight, and Randy totally destroyed him. Vitor came into the UFC at 12 at age 19, and in explosive fashion, WINNING the ufc championship tournament after destroying his opponents. Basically I'm just pointing out that Randy has been a bad muther ****er all along, ever since his debut fight in the UFC. I can't wait to see him pull off the huge title defense against the so called unbeatable CroCop.
Anyway I'd like to wish a healthy and fast recovery to Tim Silvia after getting whooped up tonight. Good luck Tim: Congratulations Randy, you are the ****ing man!

Randy took the one huge advantange Tim had over him, his size, and made it a disadvantage. After the first punch that dropped Tim he spent most of round 1 trying to secure a rear naked choke. In round two Randy came out extremely aggressive, taking Tim down at will and landing clean punches in Tim's guard. In Round 3 Randy beat him at his own game, as he spent the entire round on his feet going toe to toe with the 6'8'' champion. Randy had incredible head movement avoiding nearly every shot that Sylvia could throw, you couldn't even tell that Sylvia had a full 12" reach advantage as Randy landed overhand 1, 2's throughout the round. And Round 4 and 5 he kept Tim guessing taking him down with little effort and dominating the stand-up. It was a very impressive domination by Captain America as he stated simply, "pretty good for an old guy".

It was such a awesome night of fighting!!!!!!!!! But to answer your question Coture kept landing this over hand right combo all night , Silva's eye was swollen shut

i watched that **** and randy couture beat the living dogshit out of silvia from the bell he knocked him dowm on the first punch and just dominated all 5.that sobral guy got KNOCKED OUT ,rich made ol dude quit,matt hughs wom easy,it was the ****.all from the best city on earth,my city..........columbus baby............................
