I like it - I think it is really cute, and really she is only going to be called Carmella most of the time anyway, not Carmella Reecie, and I for one don't think that it sounds like a chocalate bar (what the!?!?!)

At the end of the day if you like the name, go for it. It's a really pretty name, and it can be shorten to Ella (which is also gorgeous) or just Carm (which is my friends nick name and it takes about 2 days to get use to, then you love it!)

The first name Carmella is nice but Reecie sounds too much like Reeses peanut butter cups.

If you are the parent and you like it, name her Carmella Reecie.

I often wonder why parents saddle poor unsuspecting children with revolting names. Carmella is going to be called Caramello right through school and there is nothing you or she will be able to do about it. Carmel is a little better. What sort of name is "Reecie" ? Is it the maiden name of a grandmother - because that would be the only reason to give it to a child.

The name is not yours, it is your child's. The girl has to live with whatever you give her, surely you can be responsible enough to give her something she can base her life on.

I would change it to Carmella Reece (not Reecie). Other than that I like it.

Good lord!!!! Sounds like an Australian candy bar (Caramello koala) embarking on a new career in motor sport, either that or its a race for chocoholocis to see who can get to the Caramello koala first!
