No. I definitely wouldn't.

Too high in sugar. Small bird bodies are not built to handle that "boost" of energy and keep in mind that bird bodies don't process some ingredients the same way human bodies do.

If you want to let your bird have a drink of something, 100% all natural juice with no additives is best and healthy.

I will let them taste what I am drinking as long as it doesn't have alcohol, caffeine and isn't carbonated.

If they are sick and off their feed giving them pedialyte is the drink of choice.

Not sure what all Gatorade has in it. I have never even tasted it. I just know it is good for athletes because it helps keep them hydrated and maintains electrolytes. It's probably not much different than pedialyte. But to be safe I would ask a pharmacist what the differences might be and go from there.

As was already suggested, my birds LOVE fruit juices and fresh fruits. Moderation is key though, because they process fluids pretty fast and the end result is passing a lot of urates.

Gatorade is a great emergency SHORT TERM electrolyte replacement for ill or recuperating birds, but the mineral content would be a bit much for a healthy animal. Excess amounts of minerals in your bird's system could become problematic. Fruit juice (as another answerer stated) would definitely be first choice. But provided your bird is only taking a small amount of what you are drinking, I wouldn't be too concerned.

Lactated ringers (or Pedialyte, as you probably know it) is a better drink for your bird. It's a little healthier, sugar-wise. I give it to dehydrated and eggbound birds.

Whatever you do, just give your bird these things as a snack. Don't let him fill up on them. He'll take whatever you tell him is tasty, but his intestines aren't that sophisticated, and too much fluid could give him very soft stools that facilitate dehydration -- imagine that. You would dehydrate him by giving him too much water. That's the same reason that you're supposed to not give your bird head lettuce: it contains too much water.

As a reward or after school snack, juice and Pedialyte are best for your bird. Too much fruit juice can cause runny stools, but it's the best for them. V-8 Vegetable drink is wonderful for birds, but be careful giving your bird too much tomato, too, because it's part of the nightshade family, and it contains a poison called solanine that your bird is pretty sensitive to, also.

Good idea, asking first. Good question.

Gatorade is too much for a bird to handle. Just plain water will do thank you.

Gatorade is sometimes given to birds in an emergency situation if they are extremely dehydrated. It would not be good to give in the long term...water is best.

Too much sugar too much salt heavens no! Us budgies arent supposed to have sugar really but can have small amounts. However there is too much sugar in Gatorade and way too many un natural ingrediants.

gatorade has a lot of salt in it. nothing carbonated. i'm not sure on citrus either but try a very little bit of apple juice. ours used to drink it and eat apple slices so i don't think it will do any harm.

Pedialyte is a great choice for birds that are ill.

You can also safely feed organic (no sugar added) apple or cherry juice.
