Is it the effects of the pot?
I'm not saying don't smoke it, but what does it have to do with this category?!

Guess what ... "beer, wine and spirits" was NOT one of the categories automatically suggested by the Yahoo computers while I was posting this!!!

As far as i know, this is the only official drug catagory on yahoo answers. Since there is no pot catagory......they probalby think this is the closest thing to it.
Its sorta like people ask questions about gymnastics in the martial arts board. Since they know some martial artists do acrobatics.

At this point, Yahoo doesn't provide a category called, "Criminal Behavior", so they make do with the booze category.

Pot makes you thirsty. You get thirsty, you drink beer. I think that might be your anwer.
