that she had working for her, the amount of money that she was to pay me, told me to lie to customers on the phone, had no common sense and sided with some other lady just because against me. I ended up pulling in the most work for her out of everyone yet she kept getting in my face when other ppl hadn't even gotten a single thing. I ended up walking out of a "meeting" because her and an older lady were ganging up on me and it was after my shift. The boss called me up to let me go and I said, "that's okay :) " and then I finally said, "I didn't like working there because u lied to me about the job and the amount of money that you were supposed to pay me. She did some double talk and her voice went up in pitch like it does when customers catch her in a lie. She didn't apologize, but instead told me to stop complaining about the fact that I still made good money even though she told me she was gonna pay more. I ended up pressing the buttons on my phone in her ear and hung up.

I doubt she is feeling any kind of remorse over you. It sounds like she wants it her way; maybe she used to work at Burger King. However, no matter what she did, I think you should always rise above them. Don't resort to something like name calling, cursing, etc... It only makes you as bad as they are. Just look for another job and move on. You were looking for a job when you found this one, and you'll be able to find another. Eventually you will find an enoyable place to work.

You cannot justify your own bad behavior by pointing to someone elses.

Just out of curiosity, how do you know your former boss is a Catholic, and why did you see fit to mention it here? What does her being Catholic have to do with it at all? My guess is that you are attempting to illustrate how she is, allegedly, not a good Christian example to follow.

Accusing her of lying (even if it is true) to her face and "pressing buttons" on your phone as you are hanging up are not proper examples of good, dignified, behavior either.

If it was in your interest to prove yourself the "better" person, you should have "turned the other cheek" and taken her "attitude" with dignity.

Don't concern yourself so much with what's right "for me". Just concern yourself with "what's right".

you should have quit the moment you realized she was doing something wrong. And turned you in to someone, the church, a priest, the police if she was embezzling. Cursing her out wouldn't make any difference to a person like her. In one ear and out the other. But to let the public know and quiting or getting her fired would have been the best thing to do.

This past employer of yours who claims to be a Catholic lady is no lady or a good Catholic. She makes real Lady's and Catholics ashamed to have their religion crossed with her character. There are many people who do bad things, and claim to be God fearing. It is just another of their lies. Do not lower yourself to the same character with cursing at her. You did the right thing by calling her out and telling her she lied. I think some people get so good at living their lies they think others do not know any better.

Your reaction may bother her but it sounds as if she is not a true Christian because if she had been she would not have treated you and others as she did. Stand up for your standards. You are more ethical than she. I doubt if saying any more to her would have made an impact.

Welcome to the real world. It's just business and you shouldn't take it personal.

The job of an employer is to get as much work out of an employee with as little pay as possible.
Conversely, the job of an employee is to get as much pay from an employer with as little work as possible.
That's the marketplace.

It is obvious that God or Jesus was not in her heart or she would not do those things. You did right by doing what was best for you. Cursing her would just reduce yourself to her level and you do not want to do that.
