It is the most well rounded art for both stand-up and ground defence.
No the Gi doesn't diminish the effectiveness of it on the street. Unless your attcker is naked. What is a Gi? Pants and a Jacket...

Judo. The stand up is great the only negative is the Gi. The Gi diminishes some of the street effetiveness.

judo is the most complete, aikido is very effective,hapkido is is good on the ground and standing, these are very good for stand ing grappling.

Either Judo or Aikido...which are both modern derivatives of Jujutsu. Both rely on body physics and joint manipulation vs. brute strength or striking.

San Shao, San Soo are Great
As Jiu Jitsu, AiKido,AiKi Jitsu, Hwrang Do, Judo and on and on and on
No way is a sure way, be open and train.
They are all Fun and have great options

it is a very unique fighting style, also very usful. 85% of all street fights at one point end up on the ground, so it would be usful. I think it would be a good choice
