I always had curiousity about what happens in the grave. Please see if you could give an answer from the Islamic point. YOu can give quotes from the Koran. Whoever knows this thing well should answer. This is a serious topic. People who dont know anything or dont have anything to do with this questuon should not butt in. Please show respect. No abusive or stereotyped words. I dont want any people bashing Islam and Muslims. If you dont like this question dont answer. I am expected this answer from fellow muslims who know the Koran well.

when you enter the grave and the last of your family leaves the graveyard and you truely realize that you alone and it dawns on you that this is it this is it. you are not going to get any more chances to be a better person. 2 angels called Munkir and Nakir will come with black faces and blue eyes and ask u who is your lord, and who is muhammad p.b.u.h. if you were a hypocrite you would say i heard people sayin this and i repeated, angels would say we knew u would reply this way, and the grave will shrink so that your body will barely fit and if u were a believer the angels willl say we knew you would reply this way and the grave will expand greatly and if u were bad, u stay in the grave getting tortured until the day of judgement, and good, lay peacefully waiting for the day of judgement

i hope u found your answer in here.

There are very convincing reasons to believe in life after death:

1) All the Prophets of God have called their people to believe in it.

2) Whenever a human society is built on the basis of this belief, it has been the most ideal and peaceful society, free of social and moral evils.

3) History bears witness that whenever this belief is rejected collectively by a group of people in spite of the repeated warning of the Prophet, the group as a whole has been punished by God even in this world.

4) Moral, aesthetic and rational faculties of man endorse the possibility of the life after death.

5) God’s attributes of Justice and Mercy have no meaning if there is no life after death.

in the grave... your body decomposes while your soul goes somewhere. i know others dont think this but i think that you either get a choice to stay here as a spirit or go to heaven or hell. if you go to heaven and talk to the big man upstairs he will decide to let you in or send you to the elevator
