I just borowed my buddy's Scanner, and I have it plugged in to power and USB and the computer Dings when I plug it in. I downloaded the Driver Software from the website. When I try to "Connect" the computer to the Scanner, it fails every time. What can I do? Thanks

Disconnect the scanner, reinstall the software and shut down computer. Plug in scanner and turn on computer windows should the see and install it, follow prompts.
