I have one, he is now 11 years old. I was curious as to what people think about them.

i never heard much of this breed before I adopted one, oh about 8 years ago now..he's been great! A bundle of energy, playful, loving..but he is a one-person (ME!) dog, loves me like crazy..he is very smart, quick to learn...I volunteer at a local animal shelter and have heard some call this breed "Jack Russell Terrorist", but I love mine to death. I wouldnt trade him for anything, and after he passes, which I hope isnt for sometime, I will get another jack. They are very pretty dogs as well as smart..what a combo! At 9 years old he looks only slightly older than when we adopted him and his energy level is just as high..

BEST DOGS ON EARTH. Once they stop chewing on everything. :) Really sweet, cuddly, cute, loving, attention demanding, but give so much enjoyment. Really my best friend...no drool is a good thing, don't smell, easy to clean...wish I could fit it on a plane...has anyone ever tried bringing their jack Russel on a plane in the cabin?

They are very cute and I really liked the Wishbone tv show -- that dog was very well-trained and really seemed to be acting.

On the other hand, I have heard that they are very high-strung and need a lot of activity or they can get up to mischief.

CUTIE!
I get to know them thru the show 'Fraser'... I find them so cute! I was thinking of getting one and read up on them but i find them too active. Can't possibly leave a JRT with the care of my mom when I'm not at home. So we got a beagle instead. Bigger, and slower than a JRT, but.. I still love JRT!!

They have a personality a lot like my Pit Bull. Loads of energy, happy-go-lucky and just plain funny to be around ... love em!!

Really, they are wonderful, VERY active, fun, loyal dogs! I have a ball training them! I just have to drink alot of coffee to keep up!

I have a JRT we adopted him 5 years ago. He's the BEST! I love him so much. They are really smart dogs and it's difficult to fool them. Just try spelling out "L-e-t's g-o O-u-t-s-i-d-e" and have him know just what it is and jump like crazy till he can go out. :)

I think it is dogs that most indians(in singapore) breed
(no racism meaning). But after sometime, I found out the cuteness of it. Its real cool!!!
