smart in school or smart period(like they cant be slow)?

ok first of all im not dumb or stupid,i get good grades in school and i know how to have a real conversation with a guy,im not self centered,i actually care for ppl but i can be slow at times.....im just asking if guys like a smart girl for her grades or personality or in conversations,etc....

This question has no easy answer, and there could be many different answers from each individual guy. So I will give you my thoughts to answer your question. Guy's might like a smart girl to go out with, so when gathered around with friends, and a having some type of conversation, she would be able to have an intelligent conversation, instead of saying some ridiculous things that would cause the guy's friends to roll their eyes at him with the wow your date is dum as a donkey. Another reason could be a guy wants to marry a smart girl who is highly educated and earns lots of money. Another reason a guy would tell a girl he likes her because she is really smart, could have 2 different basis, 1 would be because telling a girl he likes her because she is smart might appeal to her better than telling her he likes her because she is so beautiful, beautiful girls know that they are and telling her she is beautiful might be a turn off to her knowing that a guy only likes her and wants to date her because she is beautiful, and that is very superficial, so telling her that she is smart appeals to her intellectual side. And of course telling a girl he likes her because she is smart might soften her guard a little . to allow his ****** advances to her more prone to succeed if she thinks he likes her because she is smart, and not just another pretty face

Well, for starters, probably someone who is able to spell correctly is a plus. Also, intelligence is not something that is only in one form. "Book smart" does not mean someone is intelligent, it means they know how to study and take tests well. Being able to incorporate that into real life and being able to make good decisions, have a good job, get into a good college and use it to their advantage are all ways of being "smart." When a guy says he likes a smart girl, he probably wants to be able to hold a conversation with her, he wants her to be able to give opinions on things she knows about, and to ask questions when she doesn't. If you're asking because you were told this, however, the guy's a jerk and basically called you dumb, so forget about him because he doesn't matter...

I find this question interesting. Many "guys" are intimidated by smart girls. In fact, many adult men are intimidated by smart women. So what does it mean when a guy likes a smart girl? That's hard to say since one must consider the context in which things were said. My guess would be they would like a smart girl for a friend, but that's about as far as they would want it to go. But to be honest, your guess is as good as mine or the next person's. You ask a difficult question.

a "smart girl" is a girl that a guy can hold a conversation with. no guy likes to have a deep conversation with a airheaded blonde. maturity, common sence, and self-confidence usually glows "smart girl"

Smart as is in they know if they get knocked up they will have a nasty fall down an escalator. So do gods work and cary the sperm to the toliet like a good "smart" little girl.

They're just lying to you. guys don't really care about anything but boobs.
Actually its a simple matter of preference, some guys like blonds some brunettes some like sex some like companionship. Thats just the way things are. If your trying to attract one of these guys who digs the smart girls..try boob enlargement it always works PERIOD.

It could mean anything.. if a guy likes an intelligent gal, it could be that he just likes her personality. Usually humble, genuine, nice.. or they could just think that she's completely hot, and she has no idea that's the case. Loosen up, don't take things too seriously (you're obviously young), and have fun. Just as long as he's respectful to you one-on-one as well as in front of other people, then cool. If not, ditch 'em.

a girl that can have an intelligent conversation sometimes...a girl that is smart about life...doesn't sleep around...a smart girl is kind to others....smart-not always meaning she is really good in school, but she is smart about life...hope that helped...

Guys like girls that are sure of themselves. You don't have to be book smart to be attractive. You need to just be sure of yourself.
