Just slather it with butter and praise the deity of your choice for giving us such good stuff to eat.

I love beer bread, it is so easy to make and tastes so yummy.
When I make it - which is quite often - we always eat it when it's still fresh and warm. You can eat almost anything with it, but we prefer a gravy style meal with ours so we can use the bread to soak up the gravy.
It's great to bake as a garlic cheese bread and serve with your pasta.
It's also good open faced with ham and cheese or roast beef and cheese.
We've also ate it just with butter.

Our recipe:

3 cups SELF rising flour
1 12 ounce can of beer
1 Tablespoon sugar

Mix the 3 ingredients until well blended

Pour mixture into a greased loaf pan

Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.

Remove and Enjoy

How To Serve Beer Bread

I'd make a nice hearty beef or Irish lamb stew, loaded with potatoes, carrots, and onions. Then, I'd serve the stew up with some butter for those who don't want to use that awesome bread to sop up the gravy-broth stuff. Enjoy! Wish I was there with ya! Beer bread is awesome!
