It is not good to shampoo hair daily. If it is fine, dry, or chemically treated, shampooing daily will make it feel like hay. Only extremely oily hair needs that kind of maintenance. Every third day is fine for normal or chemically treated hair. All these commercials out there have people thinking hair should smell like like fruit punch or it's dirty. Not true. Also, if it squeeks.... as in squeeky clean, you have stripped it of its natural oils. Try not to overload the hair with products and that will also cut down on the need to shampoo too often.

well if you wash everyday you wash away the good oils that are good for your hair but if you want to wash it everyday or need to then make sure you have a good shampoo and read the back and see if it says if its ok for everyday wash if they are then they will tell you and if you are washing it everyday you should use a conditior also with it to make sure your hair is as healthy as it can be if your not sure which ones to use then see the person that does your hair or someone that you would trust that works with hair and would know good luck

Proper hair and scalp care involves washing your hair regularly to remove the normal buildup of dirt, dead skin cells, oils produced by skin glands, and any other substances you put in your hair such as hair spray, etc. The frequency with which you wash your hair depends on the condition of your hair. Basic guidelines are to wash your hair a few times a week for dry hair, and every day or every other day for oily hair.
If you do choose to wash your hair daily, make sure that you are using a pH-balanced shampoo and only wash it once. If you wash it more than once a day, you will be removing too much of the natural oil found in hair. Of the shampoos available on the market, most contain water, foaming agents, fragrances (often added to mask odors of other ingredients), and various amounts of detergents. Shampoos that are designed for oily hair have more detergent than shampoos for nonoily hair. Detergents can make hair less manageable and cause it to lose body. Shampoos with more detergents may also come with "conditioners" which remain on hair even after rinsing, to prevent hair from being completely stripped of oils.
Here are some guidelines for choosing a shampoo for your particular type of hair:
Damaged or fine hair: Use protein shampoo labeled substantive protein. Shampoo should be more than mildly acidic. Or you can rinse your hair following shampoo with white vinegar and water, or lemon and water. This acid rinse will help to restore a smooth cuticle and shine to your hair.
Healthy hair: Regular protein shampoos are fine. Blondes might try a chamomile shampoo, which has mild bleaching properties. Brunettes might use a henna shampoo, which has mild reddening properties.
Oily hair: Use a lemon based shampoo.
All types: Jojoba based shampoo is successful in treating scalp conditions as well as dissolving sebum buildup. It leaves your hair clean and shining.
For all types of hair, try alternating shampoos. Use one type once or twice a week and the other once or twice a week. Change brands every few months to keep your hair shiny and full of life. Diet plays an important role in hair care also, so pay attention to what you eat and try to incorporate a healthy balance of foods.

Yes, if your hair is "normal". If it's dry or oily, then you shoud do every other day....... dry hair can be dried out more by a daily wash and oily hair, all you are doing is stimulating the oil glands by washing daily.

Its not that its not safe, it just dries out your hair. Wasjing you hair every ither day at least lets the oils in and is supposed to make it healthier. For the people like me, if I dont wash my hair everyday, it gets so greasy so I have to.

Yes, it's utterly SAFE. But I highly recommend it for persons who've short hair only, just like you. For the long-haired ones, you shouldn't wash it regularly. I mean, limit it only for once a day.

i've got faith an analogous way too. as much as i hate to have grimy hair and all, in case you wash it time-honored, it particularly is going to alter into very dry and dangerous. warm water particularly dries it out. So, in case you bathe a lot, attempt making use of a cooler water temperature. yet one extra reason it particularly is not sturdy to bathe it time-honored is as a results of the fact there are organic oil in each and every physique's physique. The oil comes from you head, and could come into hair in case you wait too long to bathe it. you do not prefer to go away them there too long because of the fact then it gets greasy, and sell dandruff. yet, in case you do not go away them long adequate, it won't manage to infest into your hair, and it will in simple terms get dryer, and dryer. So, it particularly is sturdy to allow the oils take a seat for an afternoon, earlier washing all of it out.
