I mean, I'm Catholic, but your narrow mindedness sickens me.
I don't believe in say, Paganism, I'm entitled to a view on it.
I don't believe in santa, i'm entitled to a view on him.

Thank you for understanding.
Yet another example of Catholics being the most tolerant denomination.

I have no problem reading what atheists thoughts are as to why they chose not to believe that God exists. But so far they only say that God doesn't exist because they haven't seen proof. We all know that it's about having faith. Either you have it or you don't.
Many atheists here get quite rude and very disrespectful. That is not necessary. You state that Christians here are narrow minded and it sickens you. Yes, some are rude also and shouldn't be. That proves that either they aren't true Christians or that they are having a very bad day and need to get off the computer and focus on God for a while. But in all honesty, the non-believers here are 97% rude. I come here a lot and I haven't heard a descent remark from them. They say that there isn't any proof. They are looking for physical proof, like God knocking on their door and coming into their house to sit and talk. God will not do that. He is spirit, first of all. Plus God will not be tested. If you lack any faith, He will not bother to show you proof because He knows that no matter what He does, you will still refuse to believe. Instead you will say that it was a coincidence or some good luck or stuff just happens. In the Bible, Jesus told the disciples that He will not preach in the cities that lack faith because He knows it would do no good. But if us believers continually talk about Him, maybe some day some of you will decide to open your minds and hearts and listen and learn and study and will find the truth and then God will show you proof to reaffirm your faith.

It does seem like a lot of people think that - which is funny, seeing how most atheists used to be religious and know a whole lot more about religion than the religious - it's the learning more that finally makes you see that it doesn't work.
EDIT: hey closet, how many relgions did YOU explore thoroughly before settling on yours? Remeber, there are 10,000 religions in the world. So how many?
As far as I'm concerned, if you open the bag and see bugs in the flour, you don't have to dig to the bottom of the bag to see if there aren't bugs down there - you just throw the whole bag away.

Just because we ask them why they are here doesn't mean we think they need to go away. It's obvious, however, that a lot of them come here because they only want to mock and ridicule us. I do wish those would find something better to do. I usually come here hoping to find serious topics of discussion on matters of faith, but wind up reminding atheists that we don't have the same criteria for evaluating life experience.

Atheists can have their view, but if you ask most atheists why they are atheists they will most likely give you an anti-Christian response. There are thousands of religions available to form a view on so no one can be atheists unless they have explored every possibility of religion.
You can't have an opinion on something unless you know all the facts.

Wow, that made a lot of sense.
To be fair, I like to think that it is only a vocal minority that hold that view.

First of all I don't understand what your saying. People are free to have their views on anything they want.

who said they can not have a view on it? it is fine with me if they put their views here but i do not have to agree with them and they certainly do not have to agree with me. that is the wonderful thing we are all free to have chose our religious beliefs and have this forum to display them. i can agree or disagree without fear.

If more people could just let others have a different "view", without being such a small, insignificant, speck that they have to force their view on others........................
