Assuming you are living in the states,
the fees will vary depending where in the
country you live.

When buying from a reputable breeder, you get
what you pay for. I would guess that a quality
pet or show large breed dog will run between
$800 and $1200.

I found quite a few breeders justt doing a yahoo search
for Rottweiler Breeders. Check some out and you may
find the information you are looking for.

There are two types of registered dogs. Show quality and pet quality. This will also determine the price tag. Pet quality dogs are often sold with "limited registration" and require the animal be spayed or neutered prior to your taking the puppy home. Many AKC breeders do this as if the puppy is not show quality, it should not be bred as it does nothing to preserve the breed, only to put more inferior dogs into the marketplace.
You need to do a web search on breeders in your locality.

I am not a breeder but I would say that a purebred, registered, Rottweiler puppy with German lineage from a reputable breeder would cost anywhere from $750 to $1200and up, depending on where you live.
