The goldens are wonderful! Elderly people love them! It warms my heart to see a beautiful loyal golden stay at the side of a elderly person!

My family has always had labs but they all ended up with cancer at some point. I still love labs but it was heart breaking! I really like golden retrievers too.

Golden retrievers are so pretty, and so are Labs. My room mates guide dog is Black Lab and Golden Retriver mix. She looks more like the black lab and her coat is sooo pretty and shiny!

The Lab and Golden Retriever are probably two of the most intelligent breeds today. They are quick learners and easy to train plus they are great around children. Plus, if you're the outdoor type, they're great sporting dogs.
However, don't get one of these if you do not have a sizable yard for him to romp around in.

I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix and she is awesome. House trained easily, great with the kids and the fat cat that rules the universe. She can sit, shake, stay and is a great watch dog. RETRIEVERS ROCK !!

Golden retriever. They are smart, don't shed as badly if kept well groomed, good with children and other smaller dogs.

Lab! My sis has a Yellow Lab and she is really playful as a puppy but when they are older like about a year they are so loyal to kids and adults!
Hope this helps!
