when im around ugly or uglier people i don't get too shy or nervous. my take is that i don't care what impression i have on them, because they mean nothing to me.
what do you think.

maybe b/c u assume they may not like u or ur afraid of looking foolish or messing up in front of them. i feel the same way, but i tell my self sometimes that the person is just an ordinary person not a godess. so just relax and talk to them. if they reject move on and try again

You obviously care too much on what people think, stop caring if they're hot and be yourself. Everyone including the hot ones will notice and see that you're confident no matter who is around. I used to think like you. Only you change that if that is a real problem for you.

I some times have the problem to. But good news, I believe if you see a pretty woman, you might say wow and then your thoughts may wander off, but what do you think? Control your thoughts so that you will think of her as only as another person, Don`t be rude though, But you are Two of Gods creatures sharing the same planet. YOU DON`T HAVE TO FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO IMPRESS EVERY PRETTY PERSON!!

I think people who are shy when near attractive people are somewhat insecure of how they look or where they stand. I say just go for it. Stuttering and being shy around say, an attractive person you like won't get you any further than that. Good luck!

Hehe i always get that! If they are really hot i get really shy, but if its an ugly person i just say whatever i want! Its really annoying because i would rather it be the other way around!

i become intimidated around others who seem to have no flaws but remind myself that i am a beautiful person and accepting my own beauty is all that matters because even the top of the top has things that they don't like about themselves and sometimes the cutest person can turn out to be a b%#@@ no one is made perfect and it is a shame at the competition some feel they have to do in order to get noticed

It's human nature darlin'
We're comfortable around those who we're not attracted to, as our sexuality doesn't even come into play.
When you're in the presence of someone who does turn you on your entire body chemistry changes....nervous, rise in temp, flustered, sweaty, many changes take place.
I know this is cruel....but women like me....love having this effect on people.

My guess is that it is because you feel that you are better than or equal to those that are "ugly/uglier" but you feel inferior to those that are "hot."

maybe because you feel that you needed to leave a expression of your self in front of people you consider "good-looking"
so,they won't think of you as "ugly"
