For years I have been battling with this flushing and reddness. I have tried soaps, predisone, antibiotics, antifungal meds, oils to all to suppress the reddness. When I was a teen I used this stuff called benzamyacin(sp) for acne. I would not doubt it chemically burn my skin from overuse. Can someone reccommend something other than cortisone cream at night on my face. When I stop using the cream it just gets worse, bummer.

I don't suggest that you put on any other medication on your face.

It sounds more like a case of an overload in toxins to me. Medications are also toxins. After some time, your body builds a resistance to it and increasingly, you will need to have higher and higher dosages for the same ailment.

To remove toxins, you need to cleanse. Seek the help of a naturopathic doctor on a cleansing program. Alternatively, you may wish to start finding out more from this site that gives out free tips http://www.detox-cleansing-diet.com
