Well I like to think of it this way. Chances are, your best friend is your best friend because that is the person that you have the most in common with. Your boyfriend is your boyfriend because you think he is cute and maybe fun to talk to. Your best friend in this situation is basically like the closest version of you to the situation but without the emotional involvement that you have. So chances are she sees something in this guy that you choose to ignore because you are "in love". She should be the lense that you see the whole situation through because she understands it without the bias that you have. Trust your friend, most of the time they know whats best for you better than yourself. If the person most like you with the same interests and hobbies and experiences as you doesnt like this guy it has got to send up a red flag. Also the fact that he is making you choose is just dumb, dump him and find someone else.

First of all they both suck if they are making you choose. My husband, even when we just first got together would not make me choose. He still would never make me choose, and I would not make him choose. If your best friend is the one making you choose then maybe you need to rethink her as your bestfriend. If your man is making you choose you might need to rethink that relationship. Good Luck.

If it's a real true friend that's loyal to you, I say choose the friend because guys come and go and true friends are here to stay. Remember friends are relatives that we make.

does it matter? either way someone is going to be hurt. Be it your boyfriend, or your friend.
But look at it this way, is your boyfriend worth losing over something, that your friend isn't.
Either way its part of life, you have to make choices. a true friend will stay by you , no matter what you do. friends come and go, boyfriends don't

Neither, because they don't care enough about you if their making you choose between them.
But if you ABSOlUTELY had to chose, I'd go with the best friend, since he/she probably knows you better and can relate to you more.

I think if they both LOVED u they could work things out for u...or jus pretend to like each other the few times they are around each other.

i would not have to choose one or another. you love both of them
they need to stop acting like jerks. time for all of you to get
it together. life is to short. you should not have to go though this
with them. if they really care about you then they would not
put you thought this.
