because Adam was created by God, that doesn't make him the son of God.

Adam was a child of God....
He was not the first.
If you read closely Adam was created on the 6th day not the 5th when everyone else was.
God created man and said be fruitful and multiply...THEN he created Adam in the garden.
Let me try to explain in simple terms...
God created his children...and gave them the world...he knew they would sin.
But he wanted a child that would be innocent...one that would never leave home so to speak...so he created Adam and the garden to keep him innocent.
When Adam sinned..the innocence was lost so he sent him forth into the world with everyone else...much like we do to our children.
Not because we don't love them but because they have reached a point where they can fend for themselves...
This is why I believe the Jews are called Gods children because they were the ones descended from Adam.Not that we aren't all gods children but they came from the one child God wanted to keep at home.
As for the Christ being the son of God..He was a part of God himself..If the creator chose the savior to be a woman we would probably call her the daughter of god.
This I think is the only way a human can comprehend a being as a part of God is to label that part of God as an offspring.

He is the son of God. We are all children of God. Adam was the first created. But Jesus is God's first begotten Son. Meaning Jesus wasn't created, Jesus was already in existence before God the Father created Adam and Eve.

Obviously you don't know the BIble.

We are all God's children in that he created us all but Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. Jesus is God also and Adam was created by God. Jesus was never created because he always existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

I have to stick up for the Xtians on this one (which i rarely do.. as I'm not one and i dont much like em) But there is NO biblical evidence to even suggest that Adam was anything more than a creation (Created not BORN as you suggest) in either old or new or hebrew texts.. Adam was created as a simple gardner.. There are however many mentions of Sons of God in all those texts.. (Jesus wasnt even close to being the ONLY) they are called in the texts SONS OF GOD or ANGELS.. Adam wasnt one of them... Thats prob one of the only things that dosent conflict between the Texts.. Adam was nothing more than a servant .. a gardner.. and he screwed up and got fired LOL

According to what the Bible says (the translation, at least), adam would be considered 'the son of God'

Luke 3:38 (New International Version)
"the son of Kenan, 38the son of Enosh,
the son of Seth, the son of Adam,
the son of God."

Other verses state that people can be considered children of God , so it becomes clear that the term 'son of god' and 'children of God', are metaphorical, and simply expressions to denote God's Loving nature for those who believe in Him.

The idea that Jesus is the literal 'begotten' son of God is clearly a deviation from monotheism and a corrupt belief that satan managed to deceive people into accepting and spreading.

JUST WHO ALL IS THE SON OF GOD ANYWAY?

Matt.3:16,17; 16:16,17; John 14:13-14,26,28; 16:13,16; John 3:16;

How is Jesus different than any other son of God.

Col.1:15-17; Jesus is the first creation created in the image of the living God. Rev.3:12,14; When he gets his new name he will be a son as all others.
Job 38:4-7; All angels are sons of God. Job 2:1,2;

Adam WAS more special, but he since fell from grace (literally). Adam screwed things up for all of us. Jesus fixed it.

One of the many titles of Jesus is Son of God (as it is for any good Torah keeping Jew of the time, all of Abraham's faithful children share in the blessing of his God if they remain faithful Sons of God).

So because Jesus is a Son of God, we Christians can then say that he is THE Son of God (ie the significant member of that group).
