Ive told her repeatedly this is a stressful time for me since our company is laying off 80% of the research and development department(which I am a part of) and performance evaluations are critical. Id rather keep the job than keep her but would like to keep both. I dont think I can find a job I like as much as I do with my current one and Im a sexy stud so I can charm women pretty easily.

she has to understand and if she doesn't it's her loss. Try taking her out to a restaurant or somewhere nice when you are home so at least you're doing something special together maybe that will make her feel more secure. All the same your job is far more important cause you know as well as I as soon as you loose your job and can't take her anywhere or do anything cause you have no money she'll leave anyway.

Maybe you kind of answered your own question. Your job is a little more important than this current girlfriend because as you implied, there are other girls you can have out there that would be more understanding of your current situation at work. See, your girlfriend wouldn't want you to lose your job, but she just wants more attention and time from you. If you can't give it to her and don't want to, then let her go.

keep the job lose the girl money is important to pay your bills you cant just chose jobs out here your lucky to have a job you like this much. your work performance will help you keep it . and your love life will come to bloom when your ready. also if you havent already done so start contributeing to the 401k at work ( its just a thought)

Is there anything way you can make your relationship work? Like finding away to manage your time better. Or time on the weekend where you guys can have special dates. If not I guess dump her and find someone who doesnt care as much as she does.

dude tell her when the fertilizer stops impacting the ocilator that time will open up and if you hang on then advance shes married to a sucess and her kids get to go to college but if she doesnt support you how will you support her ofspring so she can lay-back and get the pedicures and weekends in the country tell her you,ll take her to disney land if shes good to you

No one likes being neglected. It seems like you can't make time for both... you can't have your cake and eat it too... if you can't balance out a relationship and a job then let the one that's least important to you go... which seems like your girlfriend... so say adios to her.

My boyfriend does this to me except he goes away...It gets lonley and we think you dont care....Show her some love...send her some flowers whilst your at work with a note saying cant wait to see you. You can have both just dont neglect your girl.

Just remember, first it's: "Honey, you spend to much time at work, please spend some time with me" to "Well, I was lonely, what did you think would happen?" Since it doesn't seem like you care, cut her loose now, it'll save you (and her) some pain later.
