This is a tough question to answer. First of all, was she a really good friend? If she is, and you didn't ask her, then you probably should have asked her first. If she's okay with it, then I see no problem. If it hurts her (which it might), then it probably wasn't the right thing to do, whether you like him or not. Consider the value of your friendship, and if the guy means more to you than your friend (maybe she was just an acquaintance?) then you're probably okay. Good luck :)

owh sweety, it seems like you stuck here. I mean when you like someone of course you are dying to go out with him but in your situation, if I were you I would not want to go out with him right now because your friend would find out and at the end your friendship will break. Do you wanna take that risk? One thing you need to realize here, it seems like this guy is not that considerate with your friend and try to put your self in her shoes; this sounds disappointing but he is most likely to do the same thing to you. Maybe you should wait couple more weeks at least two weeks after they broke up then you can go out with him.

You should have ask your friend first. But since you didn't tell her that he ask you out and now your going out with her ex-bf, TELL HER NOW in private. If you wait then there's a big chance you'll lose her in the future.

It's betraying your friend, do you want to lose a good friend because of a boy? Even though your young, you may regret that decision later on in life.

uh, not really.
you should've waited a little while.
after he asked you, you should've said something like "give me some time to think about it..you and my friend just broke up last night"
and then ask your friend if she's ok with it.
