What do you mean "slip in"? You mean without her knowing? Dude, that's really not a good idea. If she has a fungus, she needs a prescription, which only a doctor should provide and supervise, b/c you never know what will affect her. If you're grossed out by it (understandably), you need to be cool and talk to her about it. You could say, "Honey, I don't want to embarass you, but I noticed your toenails look kind of thick and I want you to see a doctor about it. It's almost sandal season, and you want to have pretty feet to put in all those stylish summer shoes!" something nice like that. There are medications that can help, but she needs to talk to her doc about it. Good luck

No, there isn't. You should not even consider "slipping" anything in to someone else's food or drink. If the toenail fungus is bothersome to you - then tell your wife. She should see a foot doctor - it is easily and painlessly treated.

I assume you haven't talked to her about this or she won't do anything on her own about it. I don't agree with you slipping her anything but I figure if you listen to me, what I tell you won't hurt her. You can try a liquid or capsule form of L. Acidophilus culture. This will help her body get rid of the fungus. If you want to put something on her toe, try tea tree oil.

Don't even consider such a sneaky action. And onychomycosis must be treated systemically or can be treated both systemcially and topically with prescription antifungals. If she perceives it as a problem, she can take herself to her doctor. It isn't easily treated though. It takes several months of consistent treatment to rid oneself of fungal infections epsecially if they've gotten a good foothold (no pun intended).
But you can't force this on her. If it bothers you, ask her to wear socks.

Nope. Get her to a foot specialist or your doctor he will prescribe something. Its external not internal. Make sure it is a fungus.

Please don't slip anything, anytime, anywhere. Make it obvious that she needs help and your undivided assistance. Have your wife's diet changed. Monitor her eating habits. Add plenty of water to the list. The body needs water, Vega tables, antioxidants. Help her this way.
