Gospel of John, Chapter 6. The Bread of Life Discourse.

" Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you shall not have life within you....My flesh is true food and my blood is true drink."

Bam- right there- the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

The most awesome gift of our Lord!

Romans 3:25-26, God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished----he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

(Meaning that God sacrificed Jesus for the payment of our sins because He requires payment for sin. Jesus justifies our sins by the shedding of his blood if we believe in Him)

Ephesians 1:7-10, In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

(Meaning that we have forgiveness through the power of Jesus' blood. God's purpose was for Jesus to be our Savior and the head of His body, His church.)

1 John 1:7 (King James Version)
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

I think it's pretty self explanatory!

"The blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin".

Sorry, I can't remember where it is. Maybe someone else knows.

Jesus changes our sinful desires, habits, behavior into wholesome ones. He changes us, we can't change ourselves.
I'm glad you didn't ask how, because that is too deep for me. Just know it's true.

Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
