you know I searched this for you because I was interested myself and couldn't find it anywhere. I made a complaint to the official website because they have changed the points system this year and haven't bothered to explain it on their own website. Sorry I can't be of more help...

could not find an actual average of points but here is an example from a race. hope this helps.:)
