Where is the best place to sit that aint to pricey? Also are pit passes worth the money, can you use them for the weekend or do you have to buy one for each day you want to go in there?

If you want to see a NASCAR race at Michigan International Speedway, come in either June or August. There isn't a race there in the autumn.

This will probably sound cliche but there really isnt a bad seat. There is nothing in the infield to obstruct your view like at the brickyard. I would say sitting in the exit of turn four or entrance of turn 1 would be the best. And like what was earlier said mid to high level seats are better than those down nearest the track. If i remember right i think those were right around 80 bucks. That was two weeks before the race so i dunno if they are cheaper earlier. Its a really nice track to watch. Pit passes are fairly cheap for usually around 50 bucks but there is no guarantee that your driver will let you get autographs or even be around the pit box. Its good to do once. And pit passes are valid only for the day they are purchased for. Unless you get weekend packages that include tickets to all three events. qualifying, busch, and nextel.

Well you can go to the MIS website and check out their 3-d seating chart. Any seat is a good seat at MIS!! The higher the better! We sit in row 43 for the first race, That is the very top in the section that we are in. The second race we sit in row 29 and the seats are still pretty good. As far as the pit pass thing this will be our first year using them as well, so sorry I can't answer that part.

For a few races, I sat in turn 4, 15th row. They were pretty good seats, and you can see most of the track. The last several races, I have sat in the center grandstands, about 25th row. I think it is worth the extra money.

They redid the turn 1 stands this year, so that is probably a good place to be, also.

As long as you don't go below row 15, you should see most of the track.
