Jason Lampbert came away with an impressive KO of Renalto "Babalu" Sobral.
Marvin "Hitman" Kampman ended Andrew McFedries's night with well executed side choke.
Rich "Ace" Franklin dominated Jason "The Athlete" Macdonald until his corner threw in the towel at the beginning of the third round.
Matt Hughes came away with an unimpressive lay'n'pray decision victory over Chris "Lights Out" Lytle.
And the most exciting fight of the night Randy "the natural" Couture walked away with his 5th UFC title. Randy took the one huge advantange Tim had over him, his size, and made it a disadvantage. After the first punch that dropped Tim he spent most of round 1 trying to secure a rear naked choke. In round two Randy came out extremely aggressive, taking Tim down at will and landing clean punches in Tim's guard. In Round 3 Randy beat him at his own game, as he spent the entire round on his feet going toe to toe with the 6'8'' champion. Randy had incredible head movement avoiding nearly every shot that Sylvia could throw, you couldn't even tell that Sylvia had a full 12" reach advantage as Randy landed overhand 1, 2's throughout the round. And Round 4 and 5 he kept Tim guessing taking him down with little effort and dominating the stand-up. It was a very impressive domination by Captain America as he stated simply, "pretty good for an old guy".

My ideas precisely....Silva vs. Franklin, for being a meaningless moeny wrestle, become fantastically solid...Wanderlei walks out to Sandstorm every time, via Darude, which i'm certain you've heard....i elect to discover his walk-out blouse from very last evening-the real one, no longer each and each of the pre-wrestle crap lacking the sponsors. Kongo is a moron for no longer keeping his distance after virtually knocking Cain out 3 cases....all the different fights were carry except for Swick-Saunders-can't look ahead to the TUF Finale, and to work out Dustin Hazelett and/or Roger Huerta wrestle...they have kinda disappeared...

Randy Couture beats Tim Sylvia by unanimous decision in a one sided fight. Tim Sylvia got cut and bruised real bad; the worse I've ever seen him.
