I am a beautiful but (sigh) hairy girl. But only 'down there'. When I get waxed the woman always says "wow, you're hairy"... and I say "yeah, yeah. shut up, I know." It ruins my life. I feel gross and manly. I get asked out all the time but I do not get intimate because I'm SO embarrased. I can't shave because I have pale, very sensitive skin (and I would have to do it everyday -- it would take forever). Waxing only lasts for a week when it all starts to come back. Laser is WAY too expensive (and not guaranteed -- which is ridiculous for the price). What can I do? Are there many other girls with this problem (I would love to hear from you gals, too). HELP?

Yes I have that problem and it has not caused any problems with guys liking me. If you live in CA it might be a problem, but if not then do not worry about it. Think about your good qualities like your figure.

You should seriously consider saving up for laser. You don't have to make a commitment to go 8-10 times or anything, but every time you go, it lightens the density of the hair and decreases the area. I went for maybe 4 times, and I was happy with the results because I found the remainder was easy to handle with epilation. Plus I ran out of money! And it works MUCH better on dark thick hair than on lighter thin hair, so while you don't have a guarantee, from your comments I would guess you fall into the first category and would respond well to laser.
Much luck, and remember, decent guys find a woman with confidence and inner beauty more attractive than girl with a weak personality who is neatly groomed below the belt.

Laser would definitely reduce the hair. I am a man and due to infections in hair follicles and ingrown hairs received advice from a dermatologist to have laser hair removal. And yes, I'm getting it done down there too because the ingrown hair is worse. That one area shouldn't be as expensive as you think, consider how much you spend on waxing versus 4 or 5 laser treatments which should do you.

errr what do u mean by "down there"? if it is what i think it is, its not thhhat bad, i mean c'mon, unless your wearing bikini 24/7, it dont matter. And it is normal, people are meant to grow hair and yes all over the body. but errr...since u have sensitive skin, i dont think waxing will be better than shaving, cus waxing actually hurts the skin more. i have also heard of permanent hair removal w/ laser, so i think it does help; depending on which procedure you decide to use. Anyways, theres a whole lot more things to worry about than that. In fact, I find it normal for girls to have hair down there, it causing more intimacy when we start doing "it". good luck :)

Try an electric shaver. They are so easy, and no water/products are used. Unless you want to moisturize afterwards.

I am pale and sensitive, so I use cocoa butter to moisturize, and it has a hint of fake tan in it. It's designed for people with fair skin, and it looks natural. Just a hint of colour, and you can keep applying until your hearts content :)

For shaving, I use hair conditioner. It is recommened by most people and it makes your skin so soft! I know it sounds strange but loads of women these days are using this. Sometimes I also use showergel as well. Shaving cream and all the junk is just rubbish. To many chemicals and what not. Electric is good as well.

:) Don't worry, your normal.

Look around for deals on the laser. Some places sell packages Save your money. Over time you'll spend just as much on waxing as you will on the laser. The laser is the most effective on white skin with dark hair like yours. It's worth it. I did it and it works.

Ok babe
don't worry! i'm like that too! (not too hairy tho hehe)

what i use is:
Silky mit natural
it's like a sander like for wood( but for womens legs)
you just wear the mit on ur hand, then slowly move in circular movements! then soak you're lucious legs in the bath and moisturise maybe with johnsons natural skin tanner! ( this will not show any hairs that may grow back)
do this atleast 3 times a month and ur legs will be perfect!! just remember, get in the sun in the summer and ur legs will be fab!
u can buy silkymit from any health shop!
Boots, superdrug, or any other shops!

gd luck sugar!! xxxxxxxx

i don't have the problem personally...but you should try electric shavers...that way you won't have a sharp metal blade coming in contact with your sensitive skin
and you can do it as often as you need to, alone without being judged by mean waxers ladies
if you do keep waxing..next time just think "Well at least I don't have to look at a bunch of chochas for a living!"

Good Luck!
