It is a term that means "of the apostles" or "after the authority of the men who Jesus chose as the first bishops and governors of the Church".

As in:

Apostolic tradition.

Apostolic origin of scripture.

Apostolic succession of holy orders and authority.

The apostolic age ... the time when the apostles were alive and present on earth.

Apostolic action ... immitating the work of the apostles in the present day.

It refers to the teachings or the authority of the Apostles of Christ (speaking of the 12 and also Paul who claimed to be an Apostle)

Some churches or cults claim to have apostolic authority, I also believe the Catholic Church claim this. It is usually used to keep members at bay as to claiming to have the authority from Christ.

I would personaly suggest keeping to the firm teachings of the Apostles as shown in the New Testament, and not trusting those who claim apostolic authority.

they believe in the apostles doctrines which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "Christians" who are baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost(speaking in tongues as the spirit give the utterance)we are born again believers awaiting for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
