this is a little embarassing but, I wanna lose weight badly, i'm following a very calorie restricted diet...and exercising a couple hour a day ontop of the 6 times a week of hockey.
I'm told i'm healthy, but my gym said I need to lose 25-30 lbs and they said I had 38% body fat. I can't help but see this large figure infront of me
But I can't help it...I feel so consumed with this...I'm taking a few things to try and help...diet pills and a couple of intestinal cleansers a day. I don't have an eating disorder, and I know theres no way i'm gonna get on. I've got more control then that.
But i feel so consumed...I wanna lose the weight so badly...but I don't know why...and I feel myself getting mroe and more consumed each day. That thought of consumption scares me....does that make sense?

I hope you don't think this is nosey, but I saw in another post you said you weigh 145lb and are 5ft3/5ft4 and I also answered another of your questions where you said you had measurements of 37-28-36. Well, I'm only 5ft2 with measurements 35-27-38, so not far of yours and I only have 25% body fat. So, I don't think your body fat percentage would be as high as they are saying at the gym, especially if you work out reguarly and play a lot of sports.
I can't believe the gym said you need to lose 25lb-30lb, you will be way too thin. Some of those gym instructors are crazy. I know one girl that had 21% body fat and this gym instructor said she should lose 10lb, although she was practically underweight! I'd definitely get a second opinion and from a medical professional, not a gym instructor.
Take care : )

I would stop the diet pills and cleansers. You should not need them and they will mess up your metabolism.
The calorie controlled diet , if its reasonable for your age , height and weight will get you the result you want.
Treat the weight issue as a long term project , dont weigh yourself every day because your weight can change by a few pounds due to when you last ate, water retention and building muscle.
Losing 30 pounds should take about 6 months , maybe a bit less.

I hope you arent anorexic or i will feel really bad for handing you the key to your weight loss problem. I take a product called phentermine. Its a diet pill that at first my Dr was prescribing. I lost 35 lbs in 4 months. You can order without a prescription at www.customhrt.com, click other treatments, then go to weight loss and order costs about 100 dollars for 3 months. I might warn you though when I stopped taking it I experienced a period of depression and Im not even sure it was related, let me know how it works out!!!

stop taking pills and 'cleansers', they waste money and don't help that much. any improvement they do add is lost when you stop taking them [so high cost to keep that going]. sounds like you exercise enough, maybe too much [depends on how active each activity is]. stop worrying specifically about how many calories you eat, just do what you can to eat a healthy but enjoyable diet. stop listening to the gym, its a one-size fits all plan. doubt you want to hear this but perhaps your body isn't made to be a pole, not exactly a bad thing. i think that once you learn to relax and enjoy your life more [by not being stressed by it all] you should lose the excess [what your body isn't made for]. good luck.
