The actual process of piercing was like a 2-3, but the clamp thing hurt more than the poking of the needle. Also, make sure you clean it just as the piercer person says, and Do not play with the piercing or touch it (except for cleaning, obviously) for a while unless you wash your hands first!!

It doesn't hurt at all. It's done so quickly your body doesn't have time to think about it hurting or not...

Just make sure you're of age and you get it done by a professional piercer. Take care of it by washing it with Dial soap twice a day.

DO NOT PUT NEOSPORIAN (sp?) ANYWHERE NEAR A NEW PIERCING!! Evereverever. Badbadbad. That stuff is oily and won't allow your piercing to heal. A piercing is a deep puncture wound and the healing time will be delayed very much so if you put neosporian on it. (The healing time is already from 6-9months for it to be completely healed. So you probably dn't want to push it back further.)

i am the BIGGEST baby when it comes to pain...i got my belly pierced and it seriously was juss a pinch..wat scared me more was the anticipation of the pain than the actual pain itself. lol sounds lame huh? well thats me. and i kid you not when i tell you that im the biggest baby cuz i had to get a local anasthetic juss to pierce my ears..and i got 2 injected when i went to go pierce my tongue (i know some people say the pain is half the piercing, but i dont believe that lol) so seriously..its not too bad..to ease the pain a lil use this product called Ora-Gel. its just a topical anasthetic. apply it all over the navel 10 minutes before you go in to get it pierced. you can also rub ice around that are to get it all numb, but oragel works great..its used for toothaches. hope this helped! have fun! and PLS go to a hygenic person! =)

All I have to say is.. DO IT :-) It is SOO worth it. I got mine done 3 months ago and it did NOT hurt AT ALL. I was so freaked out when my mom took me to the piercing place. I am the biggest baby ever.. i HATE needles, but i did not feel a thing. On your list i'd say it's a 1.ehh. HONESTLY i did not feel a thing. IT LOOKS SO CUTE AFTERWARDS :-D. DO IT you're not going to regret it TRUST me :-) ;-)

P.S: Just make sure to clean it well afterwards. that really helps it heal SUPER fast ;-) happy piercing

It depends on who u are and wut ur pain tolerance is....

Four of my friends got it done and this is what they would say it was:

1st gurl- 1.ehh
2nd gurl- 3. ouch
3rd gurl- 1. ehh
4th gurl- 2. pinch

Now for me, im usually known to not feel much pain in things liek that but apparently my skin was thick so it was harder for the needle to go in and come out..

Without anyone telling me i could feel the needle sliding in and trying to push itself out..my friends said they barely felt a thing but then again u never kno..

Go for it, it may not hurt for u and it'll be worth it at the end..

also do not put alcohol, hrdrogen peroxide, neosporing, or anything liek that.... You should buy H2Ocean, it helps with the healing process...... Also i saw my friend get hers done and i didnt back out..im glad i didnt ...

About a 2 or 3 for me. And trust me: I'm a wimp. But I paid $45 for a barbell piercing. Eh. Oh well. It hurts quite a bit after it though.

i know like over 20 girls who have their belly pierced and they all said it felt like a pinch. I have mine done too but they numbed it so i just felt pressure. Make sure you EAT before you get it pierced because if you don't you might feel really dizzy & might pass out or what not. I didn't eat before i had mine done because i didnt know i should have so i was really dizzy afterwards. It doesn't hurt that much and i think its worth it in the end!! It cost 25 for me and just be sure you clean it and but neosporin on it so it won't leave a dark spot around it. I recommend you have yours done before your friend because if you see her go through it you might back out. good luck and remember to eat first.

it's not painful when you get it done but it is painful when you clean it the first time because you have to move it up and down. oh, and it feels like a pinch.
