..this guy at work is annoying, like whenever my shift is over he always says "ur leaving already, man ur lucky". like i get off work at the same time everyday so obviously im leaving. and he knows that. like the first time he said it was okay but now he says it all the time. why? and he constantly stares at me. one time he purposely stopped and stared at me from a distance to see if i would stare back. like whats up with him

It sounds like he likes you and is just looking for conversation, but he really isnt sure what to talk to you about. I dont think he is trying to annoy you but alot of people will say things like he is saying just to be able to talk to you.
Next time he says your lucky to be leaving just come back with yep, its all yours now and smile and walk away. Thats what I do with comments like his.
If you dont really have a interest in him avoid eye contact with him or if you catch him staring at you make your eyes really wide and if he is looking at you chances are he will feel embarrassed and look away or just ignore him altogether. good luck.

He's doing something women will never understand. Trying to bring up conversation, but has no idea what the hell he's doing. You can't blame him for trying, but it is kind of dumb of him to keep saying/doing the same thing over and over again.
Now see, you wouldn't be complaining if it were Chad Michael Murray or Denzel Washington doing that to you. Even though the staring is a little creepy. It's a sign that he probably likes you.

why do you ask this question when you already know the answer. he likes you....guys are like that, they say stupid things so they can just talk to you. they never have a very good dialogue thought up, they just say whatever comes out....which is usually kinda dumb....but at the same time its cute, cause they try

Sounds like he's got a crush on you or just has short term disability and never recognizes you or remembers your shift hours.

he's a strange person. ask him about it, he'll be embarrassed and stop doing it. worst case scenario bring it up to your boss [technically he shouldn't be doing anything that makes you uncomfortable].
