CRAM. It works for me. : ) Try to understand the thought of the lecture (or your notes). Remembering where you put those notes would help you during the exam, I call it visualization. This should not be done regularly though. During our licensure exams, the review teacher told us that if we do not know the answer in a multiple-choice-type of exam, the first choice is always the best guess.
BUT, you must learn your lessons the hard way. So next time, make sure you review early on. Good luck!

but you did review,right? if you have been listening to the given lectures then made a run through before the exam,you need to relax a little, sometimes studying too much and cramming makes your mind freeze when exams are due, but it all depends on what course or subect you are taking at the moment...read by heart...

get up early and cram. That way the crammed info will be really fresh. In the future, study ahead. That crammed info won't stick with you until the final, so it will be harder when you study for that. If you have an essay exam, you're probably not going to do well.
