Try living without it.
No electricity - there goes the foundation for the very machines you are using to ask this question. There would also be no modern medicine - to set a deep bone break the doctor would have to open you up with a hand forged iron blade that more than likely isn't sterile... The list goes on and on.
Even the vast majority of clothing we use today wouldn't be producible without the modern science of chemistry. Try even finding hand woven cloth in enough volume to make enough clothing to keep everyone you know in pants.
That image alone is enough to make me VERY grateful for science!

Science has definitely made our life comfortable. Without science, there would be no home appliances, no electrical appliances, no computer, no internet. People would die of the most minor diseases, and we would still be thinking that the world is flat. I think we owe a lot to science. The drawbacks are too small compared to the advantages.

Sometimes true sometimes false. When the scientific developments are in proper hands its true. When it goes in the improper hands its false. The biggest improper use Japan and the world has experienced in 1945. The best is many one of them is we are sharing our knowledge / feelings on Yahoo Answers.

False. It is the use of science which made our lives comfortable, otherwise, its misuse has proved hell and havoc. Moreover, science made our lives haste and hurry.

True. Without alot of technological advances we would probably be living much shorter and much more difficult lives. However, like most things too much is usually bad for you, including knowledge. Knowledge is power as they say. And power can be used for both good and evil, it's a sword that cut's both ways.

True , compare the lifestyles of ancient time and of now but the misuse of science should be eliminated. Here lies the need of religion( good code of conduct).
