Me and my girlfriend have talked about marriage, and both know we want to get married, I told her I want an outdoor wedding and I already know where I want it, and she agreed with the idea and she wants me to take her to show her where I want the wedding. I haven't actually proposed to her yet but I think I want to propose to her there, when I take her to show her, would that be a good idea?

How sweet!! As long as the proposal spot has special meaning to you two, then everthing will be perfect. My fiance proposed at the bowling alley where we first met. This was a very important place in our lives as well, so it was perfect! If you need a backup option, try the place where you met, your first date, first kiss, or something like that. Don't make a big spectacle untill you find out if she would like that. Some girls dont' want the whole world watching.

Yeah. I suggest you have a picnic set up at the place. It would be very romantic. Depending on where you do it, some places may not like you having a picnic there. So, I would just tell them that you really like this place and you think she might agree if you have the picnic there and propose. You can kinda lie to them, just don't sign a contract yet!

I think it is a beautiful idea. You are so thoughful...Yes, propose to her right on the property where you will be getting married. It will be so romantic and beautiful. It would be nice to have a ring when you propose, do you have one? Anyway, good luck and always stay as thoughtful and caring as you are now.

That would be adorable. That way, that space has real meaning for you guys--it can be like a complete circle. You got engaged there and now you are getting married there. That would be beautiful! You could even have a friend go there ahead of time and set up a little picnic for you guys to share after you ask her!

Congrats!

I think your soon to be fiance' will be over estatic when you do that. Just to add a lil something to it why not have a picnic waiting for her. So you two can really enjoy your soon to be wedding ceremony location. It would make the wedding day experience there even more better.

I think it is an awesome idea, because if she says yes, it will be something personal shared just between the two of you and you can come back to that place again to share special memories. I like it because you are taking the time to plan and make it special.

i dont see anything wrong with it. However wouldnt you rather get get dinner reservations for two and after have rose petals and spread them around the ro0m as a surprise the day before rather the evening. This way she will already be in the mo0d for a wedding reception and all that. Your idea isnt so bad wateva fits you.

Sounds very neat! And think of how special your wedding will be, with that kind of memory already attached to the place! Good thinking!
