Indeed its true, it shows how God let man choose his leaders and they ultimately lead the whole nation into a despairing position where everyone suffers, and the leader is no where to be found. Like even the man after gods own heart, how his folly brought pain to the people, and he had to watch. A kings choices can either elevate the nation, or bring it to ruin, all is done by GOD. Dont you love how he is so merciful? I do. Truly I do. And those who serve him? may God bless them will all wisdom and hearts that are made of flesh, filled with charity and mercy in abundance.

Yes I agree! Not enough people study a wide enough range of history. We are very narrow and out of touch people so we keep making the same stupid mistakes.
