When I have prayed for signs I got nothin!

When I pray for his will be done in my life, I get more than I bargained for!!!!

See it is all about what is behind your prayer. If you are looking for signs that you are going down the right path, you need not.

If you are in his will and have faith you are doing things for that reason then you don't need signs. It will all line up with the Bible and his will.

I pray everyday that HIS will be done in my life and not my own. That I stay as close to him as I can and that my own flesh doesn't get in the way.

The signs come, they just come. You don't need to ask for them but ask for his hand to be with you and you will see them. Make sure you thank him for all he does, signs or not. That will help too.

God Bless

well....are u asking me what signs do i look for...well i look for the ones that i ask God for...but usually i sdont reallys epcify any signs i just want signs that God is listening...and answering me....that He isnt ignoring me....but if u wanna know ur going down the right path...then u can ask God...but who said God was gonna give u the signs??? He may have for some people...but why u? God will give u signs...if He feels thats what u need. but if not....there is a possibility that there may not be any signs. and if u specify the signs....the signs may not come at the time ur looking for...and just cuz u dont realize them doesnt mean ur going down the wrong path. but my advice to u...if there is no signs..EVERY single thing u do....check it out with the Bible first...make sure its right...make sure u know the outcome...well we will never for sure know the outcome...but u know what i mean. and when things start to go ur way...thats ur sign..and then all of sudden u hit a bump in the road....thats where faith comes to play. but there may be no signs for a while. but God will answer!

Sometimes all you can do is your "due diligence" and then trust that the Lord will work all things together for good. Pray that the Lord will shut every door that He would have you to avoid and to lead you to the door that He would open for you.

Examine your motives for a career move. Are they Christ centered? Are you looking for a way to honor God in your work? If you are looking to earn more money are you planning on dedicating a larger percentage of it to God's Kingdom here on earth? If your motives are pure and you pray honestly and seek diligently for the Lord's will then He will bring his will for your life to pass.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

I don't ask for a sign. Jesus once said "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign!"

Many people believe that God has a specific path for their life and they better do everything they can to find it. From scripture we learn that neither God's sovereign nor His moral will fits that model. God's will for our lives is so much more free than that.

Yes, please pray for wisdom and discernment. Seek advice from wise counselors. If you are faced with a decision like what career move to make, judge them and your heart according to scripture (it defines His moral will for your life). If your motives are clean and the choices are equally compatible with scripture, then thank God for the choice and rest freely in the sovereignty of God regardless of the choice that you make.

when the signs come without you looking for them. God speaks in pictures before he speaks words. for instance, I knew I was in a place I shouldn't be, but nevertheless, ended up there, and stayed for a while, the entire time questioning: should I really be here? After a while, I saw a family of eagles fly overhead, and it spoke so loudly to me, but only because I knew the meaning of it.
#1: Eagles rarely fly together.
#2: Eagles rarely fly over me.
#3: Eagles are a more apt analogy of my family than what I previously thought.

I don't pray to God anymore. I have a nightly conversation with him and Jesus. I start by confessing my sins during the day, and praying for those who I don't like or who don't like me. Then God asks me questions, and If I get stumped I ask Jesus to help me. I have made some good investments based on these conversations with God and Jesus. But, they always related to harmony. I was glad to buy the property and the seller was glad to take my low offer.

It's not a sign, it's a surrender. When you give your life to Christ and submit to His will for your life, do not look for signs. Rather, surrender to His will and trust in His guidance. Always seek His will and and you will look back at what seemed to be random events all culminate in a great plan. If He sees you heading in the wrong direction, then He will re-adjust you real quick.

you have to have faith, GOD does not always give signs, because HE wants you to just have faith. I think what people mistake for a feeling or intuition is GOD talking to you and answering prayer, so dont ask for signs. HE will lead you..its a feeling so strong like someone is trying to tell you something or something that you keep thinking about, it pops into your head all the time...That is GOD answering you.

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

That's why Tarot and Ouija boards are so helpful, a direct pipeline to Divine Direction! Or, if you're a pansy, try Magic 8-balls.
