Do you know any gel and hairspray that wont do that?? or why it happens??

do you use both of them together? That maybe the reason. Also another thing is when you spray or apply the gel, dont brush or run your hands through your hair. I use dep hair gel or herbal essence hairspray or VO5 mousse. They are all really great. But dont use both hairspray and gel together. I wouldnt suggest gel and mousse together but sometimes it is okay. I use mousse to style and then the hairspray to set.

Your best bet is to avoid gel and hairspray altogether. Try using the anti-frizz cremes, or other styling creams. They provide hold, but also allow for flexibility, and don't make you look like you have dandruff. They also don't make your hair look stiff, cakey, or soaking wet. Herbal Essences, Aussie, Tresemme, Garnier, and Sunsilk are all good choices. Additionally, you may try the molding waxes, as they provide more hold than the cremes. Don't use too much of these, or your hair will look greasy. I hope that helped!

yeah my bro has that issue i personaly think that u should not use this stuff its horrible fr ur hair my bro is lmost bald frm using that crap and if u wanna know a good kind of gel go to sallys and ask the pple who work there they will know

I USE VIURATL CARE SPORTS GEL ITS WORKS RLY GOOD I DID USE THE PURPLE URATL CARE BUT IT GAVE ME THE FLAKES I THINK THEY DO IT TO DRY UR HAIR OUT CUZ THATS WHAT IT DID TO ME HAVE U USED WHITE RAIN HAIR SPRAY II USE IT FOR UP DOS IT DONT LEAVE THE FLAKES I HOPE I HELPED

That happened to me to.I HATE IT!!!So now i just use gel and sometimes hairspary.It happens because your mixing chemicals.

When you use those types of products you should wash your hair every day. And also, you may be using too much. You could try using moose(sp) instead

to much hair spray use less also hair should be completely dry

Just don't apply it near your scalp.
