If you could,
Would you marry the person you're with right now?
The person you like,
your boyfriend or girlfriend,
or, if you're already married,
would you do it all over?

Please excuse the erratic spacing
It's my poetic nature.
All answers are great
Thanks in advance.

i'm married,
but i think, in my deepest heart, that he is my compromise. both, my second chance and my second chioce.
i love him, but i'm not in love with him, and have never been.

the first one, i let go.
i didn't blow it or anything
it all just slipped away on it's own and i did nothing to stop it...
ok, maybe i helped it along.

the first one was the one that set my soul on fire. we had passion. there's a downside to passion. arguments and opinions. strong feelings make for strong resentments

i was in love.
but i knew nothing about real love.
"in love" is the fire that burns twice as bright...
it only burns half as long

real love is the slow steady flame that keeps you warm and never lets you feel the cold and dark
it's calm and comfortable
but sometimes, it's really boring

there is no passion, only the normal
there is no fire, only warmth

would i do it over?
no,
no way,
not in a million,
not for all the money in the world

i have more now than i gave up to get it
i have stability
i have trust
i have safety and security

i know him, instead of being in love with an idea
i understand him, instead of living with an enigma

it has it's advantages, and it's drawbacks.
but, if i had it all to do again
i'd marry my second chance

I don't know if I could formally and legally commit to anyone since the divorce rate is so high, and often gets ugly. I wouldn't mind being engaged (without the whole wedding thing) to the man I'm with right now.

I am alone. A recent change but a decision I made nonetheless. I believe for the first time I need to focus on me and my life. Sorry this sounds boring and somewhat cliche, but I am convinced I am somewhat broken. Humans break sometimes. I need to heal for a while.

Yes, I would remarry my wife. We are very happy and have a great relationship. It's awesome to be married to your best friend, be able to talk about anything & everything& enjoy spending time together.

Hmm...Marriage is pretty freaky, i can't think of marriage without freaking out. But I have to be honest, I couldn't picture myself right now or in any distant future without my honey. If I had to marry him now, i would.
