I need help learning Russian?

Hello every one, do any of you know a good website, or some good books for learning Russian, as well a place to get a Cyrillic font for my computer.

I have been learning for a while, and it is hard to find good books at my local bookstore, and I really like to know if the books I am buying are worth reading, so I shy away from online books...

1. Good books for learning Russian.
I found some links on the internet for study books. They might be helpful. However, I am not sure what you have used before therefore it’s hard to tell how helpful any of these materials can be for you.

You can also check out Russian stores at your city. (If such exist there). They might have some good books that are used to teach Russian to children.

It would be helpful for you to find a Russian program at local college. There are a lot of colleges in the US that offer Russian training.

2. Cyrillic font on your computer:
You can install Russian by going to Control Panel>Regional and Language options>Languages>Details and install Russian keyboard.

You would have to remember that Windows Russian keyboard is same as standard Russian Keyboard. It is very different from standard English keyboard and for many people it is very difficult to use.

You can try a different typing software. It offers variety of keyboards and it is user friendly.
