Jesus left no physical remains when He went into heaven.

This Magdalene stuff is just folklore...didn't happen.

Oh I think he probably was married to her. Rabi's can get married why wouldn't he. I think at that time only religions outside Judaism, Islam and Christianity had celibate priests and priestesses and not all of them did at that.

But then I have a very different view of him than you do. I love him as this really brave and wonderful man who wanted to give non-Jews a chance at what he grew up with, but with a modern take on it (..modern in his day). He was a bit of a feminist to. He did say what was good for the goose was good for the gander so to speak. That was shocking in those days. Wow, what a great man!

Anyway the text we know as the bible is a compilation of many smaller texts that for the most part were put down by scribes some three hundred years after his death. Not all of the texts are things that really happened! They are just stories that scribes put in there to better illustrate what they thought were the essence of the teachings. The King James version of the bible is a fine example of well known tampering, and it is still in popular use. That just floors me!

A spirit can appear as a very solid form. I would love to see and even touch these bones. For him to rise could find expression many different ways. Do you guys always have to take things so literally!?

Peace.

Yes He was married, either to the Magdalene or someone else.

The bones, if his (and I don't think they are) would not signify that he is risen--exactly the opposite, If there are bones, there was a corpse, if there was a corpse, then he didn't rise, obviously.

Jesus said He is the resurrection, I believe Him
God became flesh to redeem us not to get married or have a child nor did Mary have other children so that Jesus could have brothers. Brothers in the bible is brethren or cousins. It is amazing indeed the antics the devil tries to subvert belief

I do agree that religion is a far easier road to take than science. You can call anything that you want nonsense, and it is simply because you say that it is. Scientists sure are stupid to believe that they have to justify their statements before they can expect others to believe them.
