The guy likes me and I think he is the only person I can possibly be with. One of my friends likes him too. I dont know what to do.

Start slowly, get to know him as a friend first. That will give both of you time to see whether this is really meant to be. It's also the respectful thing to do as far as your friend is concerned.

You know in the end, it will be your "man" who decides. If you're girlfriend is really that interested in him, she will eventually make a move on him. Do you two not know where you stand with each other??? You better ask him how he feels about you, and if the feeling is mutual tell gf to back off!!

if he likes you why do you care, he's your's. The fact that you asking makes me think you think he'd leave you for your hotter funnier, just plain better friend. Thats life plus you probually don't know what "soul mate"really is
